Initially I attempted to code my own visual novel in Unity but this proved too difficult since I needed to learn many other skills to do so and this was taking me on a tangent.
After some research, I found a free online alternative, CloudNovel, so I turned the prototype comic into a prototype visual novel.

Here is the link to 1 out of 2 of my final outcomes; the visual novel prototype for Lost (may take a while to load).
What went well:
- The scenes and mapping of scenes was clear and made it easy to navigate,
- The expressive key poses for the limited animation was easily interchangeable and convey the emotion/expression better than the comic,
- The transitions allowed for a more cinematic feel compared to the comic.
What could be improved:
- The story was simple and short, it could be expanded upon since it's quite easy to link scenes together.
